We generally grind the nuts and make a mix-nut powder of it and add 2-3 tsp/ cup of milk, adding a dash of kesar at times and simmer till the milk is reduced to 3/4th of cup, . This one sounds better due to addition of honey and dates. Looks so inviting !!!!

If I may suggest a diabetic about this milkshake, I would suggest them to avoid sugar/honey from this as the dry fruits itself has good amount of natural sugars in them and milk has carbs, protein and fat. I had to bring this up, cause these days fasting is maintained by elderly people and 90% of them are diabetic. 😉

Pooja, reduce the quantity of raisins the next time you make it. The sourness of raisins sometimes curdles the milk. Also use only chilled milk. Do not add room temperature or hot milk.
