Round Up of Jihva For Ingredients – Dal

This month’s JFI (Jihva For Ingredients) food blog event took place on July 1st. Well, to those of you who aren’t aware of JFI, its a revolving food blog event started by Indira of Mahanandi in May 2006, where each month, food bloggers from around the world, cook a dish based on an ingredient announced by the host of that particular month and post it to their respective blogs on the 1st of every month.

Jihva for ingredientsI am the host for this month’s JFI and the ingredient I chose was Dal (Lentils) and there were 45 participants from all over the world sending in over 50 different varieties of Dal dishes.
