Apple Cinnamon Muffins

Apple Cinnamon Muffins

I hope you had a great holiday season and wonderful start into the New Year. Am starting the new year on a sweet note. Baked a batch of Apple cinnamon muffins that have stolen the hearts of my family members. The aroma of cinnamon and the flavor of apple and chocolate chips make the muffins a special, tasty, homemade treat. And they taste best when slightly warm.

Apple Cinnamon Muffins Recipe

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

2 tsps cinnamon pwd

1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)

3/4 cup low fat milk

2 eggs, lightly beaten

1 Preheat oven 200 degrees C and place the oven rack in the middle of the oven.

Note:

To make it eggless replace the eggs with a mashed banana and 2 tbsps yogurt.

    Hi Sailu,
Thank you for the wonderful recipes, keep up the good work!
I have a question, is there anything else we can use instead of banana and yogurt,as I can’t eat Bananas.

    Thank you

Instead of eggs, add 6 tbsps of water to 1 1/2 tbsps corn flour and mix.

    Thanks Sailu, God Bless!

    hello,
I have followed your instructions to the tee. The consistency of the muffin itself turned out to be good, but when we ate, it lacked sugar and had a lot of baking soda smell lingering over it. I think 1 tbsp of baking soda is too much….If I have to make it again, I will increase brown sugar to 1+ 3/4 cup and reduce the amount of baking soda to just 1tsp. Thanks for a great recipe though!!!

    • Anji

She said baking powder not baking soda.. There is difference between those two! Hope this helps!

    Hello

I have been a silent visitor to u r website.I have tried these muffins today and must say they have turned out really well. I really dint feel the need to increase the sugar quantity ,i did add white chocolate chips as i had them handy and used all purpose flour instead of maida .This is the first time ever i am posting in somebody’s website. Appreciate u r kids zone.
    Thanks for the wonderful recipe
