I followed the recipe to the T and it was the best chana dal i have cooked so far! Loved it! I used the pressure cooker instead and poured in the tamarind juice and masala later. I only left out the curry leaves since I didn’t have any in the pantry but it still came out perfect!

sailu…this receipe is really good..i tried this and even sent the same to my sisters…nd asked them to try this whenever they want to do anything with anapakaya..thanks a lot for giving such a good receipe..i rarely eat bottle gourd but now i became a fan of it..it is just bcos of u..certainly i will suggest everyone to go thro ur website if they r looking for any new dishes..
