Will it have any effect on the taste or texture of the cookie?

Hi Sailu…

Those cookies look delicious….Just one question…can we substitute the brown sugar with white? You can pre heat the oven at the required heat for 10 mts in bake mode. While baking place only the baking tray which has cookies or cake. You can use the any of the tray as long as you grease them before placing cookies to bake. Use Convection mode which baking. Hope this helps.</em>

Well place them in the upper rack and reduce baking time the next time you bake cookies. 1) How long should I preheat the oven? On what temperature and which mode? I usually preheat 250 degrees for 10 minutes on Toast mode.
2) Where exactly should I place the cookie tray?..It is the tray that I got with the Oven. So should I place it above the wire-grill? Or should I remove the Wire grill and keep only the tray?
3) My oven has another control, which asks to select the cooking mode (Covection, Rotisserie or both). Should I keep this switched off? or should it be on Convection?

Hi

I just bought this Morphy Richards OTG (35 RC SS), however, at 170 degrees my cookies are burnt (another cookie recipie). I have tried lots of recipes an all have turned out perfectly well. When My 7 year old son asked if I knew how to bake xmas cookies for christmas. I at once said yes because I remembered seeing this recipe on your site!!!!!!Just one query. You say 1 cup powdered almonds. Do I measure the almonds in the cup before I powder them?. I have never done cookies before. I really want to get it right. Melted butter means melted in microwave till it is runny or just soft at room temperature. Thanks and keep up the awesome work.Sarita

Hi Shailu,

I love your website. In Vizag, they are available at Poorna Market road, wholesalers of bakery supplies usually have them. Available at Jain stores and I think the owner's name is Vinod.</em>

hi sailu

once again if u dont remember – i’m from vizag- and visit your site everytime i’m online. very interested in your embroidery stuff too. i do some myself but lazy. but the guy u have seems to be very good. do u take orders?? anyway the reason i’m writing is where do u get chocolate chips in vizag??

Yes, Shobha, I do remember and thanks for visiting my site.
