This new year saw a passion of mine take shape in the form of a new blog that will chronicle some of my creative interests. I am happy to announce the launch of Suvastra, a photo journal of Indian weaves and embroidery, eco-friendly and ethnic handmade products, craft fairs and creative pieces of art that inspire me.

    Happy Sankranti to you and your family…it has been a while that I dropped in your website and I liked the whole new facelift of the site…I just dropped in today to cross check the plagiarism of the Eastern Masala website…I recently happened to be shocked to see some 10-15 recipes and snaps from my blog been copied in this site with alterations made according to their whims and fancies without the slightest courtesy to acknowledge the source…and I also found that there were recipes from other fellow bloggers as well..I could not recognise the material until Sumitha pointed it out today in my blog…there are quite of a few of your recipes too copied in this site..like for instance, eastern.in/andhrapradesh/secretofandrafood_display-receipe_refid-296-andhrapradeshrecipe-Chepalu_Pulusu_(Fish_Curry).htm
    I just thought I should let you know abt this shameless act of a very popular brand!

    Suvastra is a beautiful and interesting concept. I am a native of Vizag as well and would like to know if you are doing this as a hobby or as a business venture. If latter, can you please let me know where you operate your store/workshop from so I can stop by next time I’m in Vizag?
