  18. Thanks for comments on my blog. This morning I had gone to VJTI for Annual Flower show.

Next week there is another Annual Fruits, Plants and Flower show, then I will be posting more pictures.

You too have great flower show I must admit.

  19. sailugaru,
great garden, i am growing plants in pots. what do you do for the pests? handpicked the slugs on karivepaku chettu and threw them away, but cant do the same with some white pests which have attacked all my mandarams! ants too infest the flowers. any suggestions. one more question… should i prune mudda mandaram? i feel very bad to cut the plant.

sailugaru, can you please tell me when and how to take kesari [saffron]…. now i am in my sixth month… is there any food that i should avoid though my gynaecologist asked me to eat anything i want..coz recently a sweet vendor asked me not to eat gummadikayi halva! already indebted to you for the great recipies. thank you so much… oh yeah i tried ragi dosa and sure it came out well. thank you again.

Hema, I spray neem water on all the plants at regular intervals. This should help the prevention of pests and ants. Yes, you can prune the mandaram. I prune it regularly.

Honestly, I never took saffron during my pregnancy and I really don’t know much about the intake of saffron. My doctor advised me eat whatever I relished..:)

  20. I love receiving your heavenly recipies in my inbox. Your flowers are so beautiful and you inspire me to get outside this spring and enjoy mother earth and start planting! I love south India and its wonderful people and yummy food! Thanks so much your very kind.
